베트남 복합개발은 "메이드 by 코리아”
○ 아시아국가 중 최근 베트남만큼 개발이 활발히 이뤄지는 곳도 없으며, 수도 하노이
공항에서 신도심으로 이어지는 '13번 국도'는 베트남 개발의 상징으로 통함. 반가운
것은 개발현장 울타리에서 한국건설업체들의 로고를 심심치 않게 볼 수 있다는 점
임 '베트남은 지금 한국건설사들이 개발 중'이라고 해도 지나친 과장은 아님
○ 실제 한국건설사들이 올해(11월15일 기준) 베트남에서 기록한 수주액은 총 32억
6700만달러로, 사우디아라비아(142억3000만달러)와 이라크(32억6900만달러)에 이
어 3번째임. 특이한 점은 이제 막 사회간접자본(SOC) 공사가 본격화된 국가에서
우리나라에선 2000년대 중반이 지나서야 볼 수 있던 복합개발 프로젝트가 왕왕 나
온다는 것이며, 1인당 국내총생산(GDP)이 1000달러에 불과한데도 극심한 빈부격차
로 인해 고급주택과 오피스 등에 대한 수요가 만만치 않기 때문임
○ 반가운 소식은 한국업체들이 이 같은 복합개발을 주도한다는 점이며, 경남기업이 건
설하는 하노이 '랜드마크72'가 대표적임. 하노이 팜흥스트리트 중심에 위치한 '랜드
마크72'는 층고와 높이(72층·346m)가 베트남 최대 규모고 연면적은 현존 세계 최고
층빌딩인 두바이 '부르즈칼리파'(160층·828m)의 1.4배에 달함
○ 메인빌딩인 72층 1개동과 48층 아파트 2개동으로 이뤄졌으며, 아파트는 100% 분양
됐고 메인빌딩엔 인터컨티넨탈호텔과 팍슨백화점 등의 입주가 확정됐으며, 김상국
현장소장은 "메인빌딩의 경우 현재 50% 정도 임대계약이 마무리된 상태"라며 "베트
남 부동산시장 상황이 개선되고 있어 단기간에 임대가 끝날 것"이라고 자신함

○ 롯데건설이 시공하는 '롯데센터 하노이'도 완공될 경우 베트남의 상징물이 될 것으
로 기대되며, 하노이 구도심에 위치한 '롯데센터 하노이'는 지하 5층~지상 65층
(267m)에 연면적이 24만7075㎡로, 여의도 '63시티'의 1.4배 규모임. 지상 1~7층엔
롯데백화점이 입주할 예정이고 상층부엔 역시 오피스와 호텔, 서비스레지던스가 들
어섬. 이 건물은 베트남 여성의 전통 복장인 아오자이를 형상화해 현지인들에게도
핫이슈가 되고 있음
○ 베트남에서의 복합개발은 대우건설이 1995년에 건설한 '대하비즈니스센터'(DBC)가
시조 격이며, DBC는 '롯데센터 하노이' 건설부지 바로 맞은편에 위치하며 18층 규
모의 대우호텔(객실 411개)과 16층 규모의 아파트, 오피스 2개동으로 이뤄졌고, 지
어진 지 오래돼 시설은 낡았지만 아직까지 베트남 최고급 복합단지의 위상을 지키
고 있음

국내건설사, 사우디-베트남-이라크에서 수주 활발
○ 국내 건설업체들이 단일국가로는 처음으로 사우디아라비아에서 수주 1000억 달러를
달성했음. 22일 해외건설협회에 따르면 지난 11일 사우디국제석유화학기업(Saudi
International Petrochemical Company)가 발주해 STX건설이 수주한 ‘SHOP 주거단
지 신축공사(1억1614만 달러)’ 계약이 공식 접수되면서 국내 건설사들의 사우디아
라비아 누적 수주액(계약기준)이 총 1000억1998만 달러로 집계됨
○ 국내 건설사들이 한 국가에서만 수주 1000억달러를 달성한 것은 처음으로 지난
1973년 삼환기업이 사우디 교통체신청이 발주한 2004만달러 규모의 알올라~카이
바 고속도로 공사를 수주해 사우디에 처음 진출한 지 38년 만임. 특히 올해도 국내
건설사들은 사우디에서 총 154억5598만달러 어치의 공사를 따내 이라크(32억6964
만달러), 베트남(32억6929만달러) 등 2위 그룹 국가들에 비해서 5배 가까이 많은
수주 실적을 기록하고 있음
○ 건설업계 관계자는 “대부분의 중동국가가 그렇듯 최근 고(高)유가를 바탕으로 노후
화된 정유플랜트를 고도화하거나 새로 짓는 공사가 앞으로도 상당히 발주될 것으로
예상한다”며 “중동 민주화 영향으로 사회간접자본에 대한 사우디 정부의 투자가 늘
어나는 것도 향후 전망을 밝게 하고 있다”고 말함

7대 경관 제주도-베트남 하롱베이 공동 마케팅 추진
○ 세계 7대 자연경관에 선정된 제주도와 베트남 하룽베이가 관광객 유치를 위해 공동
마케팅을 추진키로 했으며, 제주관광공사(사장 양영근) 주관으로 지난 17일부터 사
흘간 제주그랜드호텔에서 열린 ‘제3회 제주국제그린마이스위크’에서 관광공사와 베
트남 하노이시는 상호간 관광객 유치를 위한 공동 마케팅을 협의함
○ 마이스위크 행사에는 베트남 호치민인민위원회 라쿠칸 관광국 부국장과 하노이인민
위원회 트롱민티엔 관광국 부국장 등 고위 공직자들이 대표단으로 참석했으며, 트롱
민티엔 부국장은 “7대 자연경관에 선정된 하롱베이와 제주도가 연계된 관광상품 개
발을 위해 팸투어(사전답사여행)를 개최했으며 한다”며 “7대 경관 공동 마케팅을 위
해 제주도와 베트남 간 관광교류 활성화를 위한 사업을 추진하겠다”고 밝힘
○ 3000여 개의 섬으로 이뤄진 하롱베이는 1994년 유네스코 세계자연유산에 등재됐
고, 이번에 7대 경관에 선정되면서 제주도와 같은 내용으로 아름다운 자연경관을
서로 인정받으면서 공동 마케팅 추진에 탄력을 받을 것으로 전망되고 있음. 제주도
관광공사 관계자는 “신흥 관광시장이자 경제 발전의 블루오션으로 떠오른 베트남과
제주도가 7대 경관으로 전략적인 관계를 갖는다면 시너지 효과가 더욱 커질 것”이
라고 밝힘
○ 베트남 정부는 올해 외국인 관광객 유치 목표를 550만명으로 책정한 데 이어 오는
2020년 관광객 1000만명 시대를 맞이하기 위해 관광시장 개방과 홍보에 적극 나서
고 있음. 한편 지난 19일 폐막한 제주국제그린마이스위크에선 도내 관광업계에서
50개 업체가 참여한 가운데 13개국에서 온 150여 명의 바이어들이 총 600건이 넘

○ 싱가포르 이벤트 대행사인 ‘올 이벤트그룹’은 내년 2월 제주에서 세미나를 개최하기
로 했고, 일본 측 바이어는 기업 인센티브 투어와 관련 기념품 제작을 도내 업체에
의뢰하는 등 실질적인 비지니스 창출이 이뤄졌으며, 일본에서 온 바이어 카와다 에
리코씨는 “지금까지 제주에서 마이스 행사가 가능했는지 잘 모르고 있었다”며 “이

베트남 투티엠 수중터널 개통
○ 베트남 '경제 수도' 겸 최대 도시인 남부 호찌민시에 건설된 '투티엠' 수중 터널이
20일 개통됨. 호찌민시를 가로지르는 사이공 강에 건설된 수중 터널은 길이 1.49
㎞, 폭 33m, 높이 9m, 6차선 도로로 하루 평균 4만 5천대의 차량과 1만 5천대의
오토바이가 통행할 수 있다고 국영 베트남 통신(VNA)이 21일 보도함
○ 동남아권에서 가장 긴 이 수중 터널은 호찌민시의 신 도시권인 2군(群)의 투티엠 지
역과 중심가인 1군(群)을 연결하며, 사이공 동서고속도로(길이 22㎞)를 축으로 해서
건설됨
○ 일본 정부가 제공한 9조 9천억 동(5조 3천580억 원)의 차관으로 건설된 이 터널 개
통에 따라 호찌민시의 극심한 교통난 완화에 큰 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 VNA는
전망함
○ 특히 이 수중 터널에는 화재경보, 교통혼잡경보, 규모 6의 강진에도 견딜 수 있는
내진(耐震)능력 등 각종 첨단 시스템이 설치되어 있음

베트남-미얀마 미국의 우방국으로 탈바꿈
○ 오랫동안 미국의 적국이었던 베트남과 미얀마가 미국의 우방국으로 탈바꿈하고 있
으며, 중국의 영향력에서 벗어나려는 이들 국가와 ‘아시아로의 복귀’를 선언한 미국
의 이해가 맞아떨어졌다는 분석이 나옴
○ 미 해군함 리처드 버드 호는 지난 8월 베트남 캄란만 해군기지에 정박했으며, 미
해군함의 캄란만 기지 방문은 1975년 베트남전쟁이 끝난 후 처음으로 이번 방문은
양국 간 군사협력의 신호탄으로 해석되고 있음. 베트남은 남중국해 영유권을 놓고
중국과 심한 갈등을 겪고 있어 해군력은 중요한 변수로 작용함. 특히 베트남은 캄
란만 기지를 외국 군함이 정박할 수 있는 전략기지로 만들 구상을 갖고 있으며, 이

“베트남 내년 인플레 11.3% 전망”
○ 가파른 상승세를 보여온 베트남의 물가 상승세가 내년에는 다소 완화될 것이라는
전망이 나왔음. 일간 뚜오이쩨는 19일 영국의 스탠다드차타드은행 보고서를 인용해
내년 베트남의 인플레가 11.3% 선으로 떨어질 것으로 예측된다고 보도함
○ 보고서는 베트남의 인플레는 벌써 내림세를 보이기 시작했으며, 다음 달에는 19.7%
로 내려갈 것으로 예상했으며, 또 내년에는 평균 11.3%를 유지할 것으로 전망함
○ 이 은행은 이런 전망이 세계적인 식품 가격 동결과 베트남 중앙은행(SBV)의 통화
관리 강화의 영향에 기인하는 것으로 풀이함
○ 그러나 인플레가 하락세로 돌아선다고 해서 SBV가 대출 정책을 느슨하게 하는 것
은 동화의 평가 절하 압력을 고려할 때 오히려 역효과를 낼 우려가 크다고 경고함
지난달 베트남의 인플레는 지난해 같은 기간보다 21.59% 증가한 것으로 파악돼 살
