(서울=연합뉴스) 심재훈 기자 = 구제역 확산에 따른 매몰 대상 가축이 100만마리를 넘어섰다.
전남 영암의 오리농장에서는 전염성이 강한 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(AI)가 발생한 것으로 확인됐다.
농림수산식품부에 따르면 7일 오전 8시 기준으로 구제역 매몰 대상 가축이 107만5천15마리를 기록해 6일(94만8천364마리)보다 12만6천651마리 늘었다.
매몰 대상 가축은 소가 2천472개 농장의 9만7천524마리, 돼지가 469개 농장의 97만4천469마리, 염소가 107개 농장의 2천214마리, 사슴이 48개 농장의 808마리다.
이 가운데 83.7%인 89만9천827마리는 매몰이 완료됐다.
정부는 구제역 가축의 신속한 매몰 작업을 위해 공무원 6천여명, 군인 3천500여명, 경찰 2천여명, 소방공무원 1천500여명, 굴착기 340여대를 투입한 상태다.
구제역 확산 방지를 위해 전국에 2천78개 이동통제 초소가 설치됐으며 가축시장은 모두 폐쇄됐다. 다만 지역 축협의 가축중개 매매센터에서 전화 및 인터넷 중개 등을 통해 7일 오전에 56마리 정도 거래됐다.
구제역 백신 예방 접종은 서울 등 7개 시.도, 60개 시.군의 5만2천81개 농장, 120만8천364마리에 대해 이뤄졌다.

지난 6일 강원 강릉시 구정면 어단리의 한우 농장과 경기 화성시 장안면 수촌리의 돼지 농장에서 접수된 의심 신고는 7일 양성으로 판정돼 발생 농가와 더불어 반경 500m 이내에 대해 예방적 살처분이 이뤄졌다.
이처럼 구제역으로 인한 매몰 가축이 급증함에 따라 축산물 가격도 급변동하고 있다.
지난 6일 오후 5시 기준으로 한우 소비자 가격은 500g당 3만6천160원으로 전날보다 9.9% 오른 반면 돼지는 7천522원으로 10.8% 하락했다.
한편 전남 영암의 오리농장의 집단 폐사 원인은 고병원성 AI로 확인됐다.
전남에서 고병원성 AI가 발생한 것은 2008년 이후 2년 만이며 구례, 나주 등 전남 내 다른 지역에서도 AI 의심신고가 잇따르고 있다.
이 농장에서 사육하던 오리와 인근 500m 이내의 오리 농가 4곳의 7만여마리 등 오리 8만4천여마리는 예방 차원에서 지난 5일 모두 살처분됐다.
