   가르시아 대통령은 이날 서울 한남동 하얏트호텔에서 열린 기자회견에서 "서비스와 금융.보건.환경 분야 등을 포함한 포괄적인 한.페루 FTA를 통해 양국 경제가 완전히 통합하고 서로 융화하는 데 큰 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다"면서 이같이 밝혔다.

   가르시아 대통령은 이날 오전 청와대에서 이명박 대통령과 정상회담을 갖고 지난 8월 양국 통상장관간 타결된 '한-페루 자유무역협정(FTA)'에 가서명하고 '과학기술 협력 양해각서'와 '환경보호 협력 양해각서'도 체결했다.
