A 73-killogram giant dog saved a girl before she was raped while the dog walked around with his owner, Chicago Tribune reported last Friday. This Great Dane, called ‘Scooby,’ chased the suspect after he saw the man attempt sexual assault. As Scooby cornered the man in an alley, the owner called police. Police immediately arrested Larry Smith, 28, who had 40 criminal records since 2001. Police said the 14-year-old girl was attacked while she was heading home.
