邓丽君（1953年1月29日－1995年5月8日），生于台湾省云林县褒忠乡田洋村，
邓丽君是在全球华人社会，亚洲影响力巨大的歌手，并赢得了“有中国人的地方，就有邓丽君的歌声”的美誉，她更是首位登上美国纽约林肯中心、洛杉矶音乐中心的华人女歌手，曾经在美加等国家巡演。1986年获选美国《时代杂志》世界七大女歌星，世界十大最受欢迎女歌星之一，是唯一一个同时获两项殊荣的亚洲歌手。1984-1986连续三年蝉联日本有线大赏以及全日本有线放送大赏，创下双奖三连冠记录无人打破；她曾于1985，1986，1991三次参加日本红白歌会。

1953年 1月29日(壬辰年腊月十五日、周四)出生于台湾省云林县褒忠乡田洋村，6月举家迁往台东县池上乡。1954年 6月举家迁移至屏东县军用机场附近的眷村。
1958年 至屏东市仙宫戏院附近学芭蕾舞。
1959年 11月举家移居至台北县芦洲市(1998年升格为县辖市)，就读台北县芦洲市芦洲国民小学，表
现出音乐天赋。
1961年 接受启蒙恩师李成清歌唱指导。
1962年 随“九三康乐队”四处慰问演出。
1963年 8月参加“中华电台”黄梅调歌曲比赛以《访英台》获得冠军，为参赛者中年龄最小者。
1964年 代表学校参加全县国语朗读比赛，获得第一名。
1965年 就读金陵女中，获得台湾第一届初中演讲比赛第五名。
1966年 参加正声公司歌唱训练班，以优异成绩毕业；参加金马奖唱片公司歌唱比赛，以《采红菱》夺得冠军。
1967年 自金陵女中休学，加盟宇宙唱片公司开始灌录唱片；9月推出第一张唱片《邓丽君之歌第一集——凤阳花鼓》，正式以歌唱为职业。
1968年 参加台视《群星会》节目演出，在台北夜巴黎、七重天等歌厅登台演唱。
1969年 演出第一部电影《谢谢总经理》；演唱中视开播台湾首部连续剧《晶晶》主题曲(1969年10月11日首播)，主持中视“每日一星”节目，被誉为“天才女歌星”；首度应新加坡总统夫人邀请首度出国赴约做慈善义演。
1970年 1月于香港工展会荣获“白花油慈善皇后”，为历年最年轻者；10月与张冲合作拍摄个人第二部电影《歌迷小姐》。
1971年 2月至次年8月，在东南亚展开为期一年之巡回登台，足迹遍及香港、新加坡、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国、越南等地。
1972年 6月邓丽君歌迷俱乐部“青丽之友会”于香港首度成立；与丽风唱片签约；结识初恋情人林振发；当选香港十大最受欢迎歌星；二度当选“白花油义卖皇后”。
1973年 1月赴美修读英文；到香港演唱于“香港歌剧院”、“汉宫”及“珠城”，后前赴越南演唱；拍摄电影《天下第一笑》；与日本渡边经纪公司签约，并与宝丽多(Polydor)唱片公司签约机构合作唱片发行，赴日接受密集训练在新加坡国家剧院出席“远东十大巨星晚会”。
1974年 3月1日正式赴日发展，在日本推出首张单曲《今夜かしら明日かしら 》(不论今宵或明天)，流行榜排行75名；4月首度赴金门劳军；主演喜剧《唐伯虎点秋香》；主演舞台剧《女记者》；主演喜剧《西厢记》；10月17日以《空港》一曲获日文音乐祭“银赏”；11月19日以第二张日语专辑《空港》一曲当选1974年“最佳新人歌星赏”、“新宿音乐祭铜赏”、“银座音乐祭热演赏”，总销量达七十五万张。

1979年 发生假护照事件，黯然赴美进修日文、英文、生物及数学；4月在加拿大温哥华举行演唱会，为首次在美加地区办个人演唱会；“香港第四届金唱片颁奖礼”上，同时有三张大碟获白金唱片奖，另有两张大碟获金唱片奖。

1991年 2月在日本发行日文单曲《悲しみと踊らせて》（与悲伤共舞）；3月返台赴金门劳军；7月特地赴日本为新歌宣传，并对媒体首次承认法国男友保罗；7月出席香港亚视“爱心献华东”节目，12月第三度入选日本“红白歌合战”，赴日本出席第42回“日本红白歌会战”；在香港表示已是退休阶段，日后除慈善义演外不做公开演出；赴港参加“爱心献华东”赈灾筹款，作慈善表演嘉宾。
1992年 2月除夕返回台湾与家人欢度春节，2月11日上华视新闻杂志节目接受陈月卿及李艳秋访问，6月在巴黎纪念会中演唱《血染的风采》，8月在日本广岛和平音乐祭中演唱，9月在香港亚视选美总决赛中与徐小凤、黎小田合唱《戏凤》，12月推出《难忘的Teresa Teng》专辑，为个人在华人圈所推出最后一张国语专辑；
1993年 3月赴港作“亚洲电视”TALK SHOW“龙门阵”嘉宾；3月应电视台总经理张家骧之邀，返台在台中清泉岗基地举办《永远的情人》劳军晚会；5月在日本发行最后一张日文单曲《あなたと共に生きてゆく》（与你共度今生），12月出席第26回日本有线大赏联唱三首大赏曲目并担任日本有线大奖赛颁奖嘉宾。
1994年 6月返台参加庆祝陆军官校70周年庆“永远的黄埔”劳军晚会，为最后一次在台湾的公开演出，10月由法国莅临香港出席双十庆典大会，与罗大佑合唱《梅花》，10月22日赴日本仙台市宫城县民会馆参加“歌谣义演会”，为最后一次在日本的公开演出，11月为香港亚视主持“今日爱心睇真D”的爱心单元外景部分，此为最后一次参加媒体节目演出；于日本推出《夜来香》唱片；同时婉拒第四度参加“红白歌合战”的邀请，希望把机会让给新人。
1995年 2月与家人团聚并接受媒体访问；出席3月23日香港亚视台庆，为最后一次在香港露面；
5月8日在泰国清迈因气喘病发猝逝（后据大陆医生推测为“胃食道逆流”），享年四十二岁；5月11日遗体运抵台湾；5月28日在全球华人之目送下长眠台北县金宝山“筠园”；大陆摇滚圈发行告别的摇滚——纪念邓丽君专辑；歌星王菲发行《菲靡靡之音》向其致敬。
1996年 香港嘉利大楼失火，烧毁宝丽金拥有邓丽君原声母带。日本经纪人西田裕司撰写的传记《美丽与孤独》出版。
1998年 《漫步人生路》纪念音乐剧。
1999年 世界最权威的美国《时代》杂志评选20世纪百大最具影响力艺人，华人仅有两人入选——李小龙和邓丽君。
2000年 《星愿系我心》纪念音乐剧。
2002年 《但愿人长久》纪念音乐剧；台北纳丽台风大水，毁损邓丽君文教基金会部分珍贵史料。
2003年 邓丽君五十冥诞纪念。
2005年 邓丽君逝世十周年纪念。
2007年 6月2日，日剧《テレサ·テン物语～私の家は山の向こう》(邓丽君物语-我的家在山的那边)在香港、台湾、日本、新加坡等30个国家或地区多次播放，收视成绩赫然，其中日本收视率高达15.6%，为同时段收视第一。海外再次引发邓丽君热潮。
2008年 7月23日，邓丽君胞弟邓长禧病逝，享年55岁，9月23日，央视四套《天涯共此时》播放喜欢邓丽君的那些人特别节目；邓丽君金曲《但愿人长久》随神舟七号升空。
2009年以850多万票的绝对优势力压倒王菲，周杰伦，老舍，金庸等人获得中国建国60周年最有影响力文化人物网络评选榜首。
2010年，为纪念邓丽君辞世15周年，邓丽君文教基金会联合亚洲超过20多家电台，进行《邓丽君最爱歌曲网络票选》，历经一个月的票选，4月1日公布结果。有超过2000万人投票，《北国之春》以49.11 %（约982万票）的支持率拿到最爱歌曲第一名。
2010年8月2日 ， 美国CNN评选了过去五十年里全球最知名的20位音乐家，张国荣和邓丽君作为仅有的两位华人歌手入选其中。

三部曲《偿还》助邓丽君重返日本
1984年，假护照事件后，邓丽君重返日本歌坛，荒木丰久和三木刚合作，创作出《つぐない》译名为：赎罪 即后来的《偿还》，立即打入日本唱片流行榜，停留榜内接近一年，刷新日本乐坛历史记录。邓丽君也因此获得无数奖项，其中包括“年度有线大赏”、“最受欢迎歌曲赏”，更被提名角逐“日本唱片大赏”之“最优秀歌唱赏”。其卓越成就，为中华民族添上璀璨的光彩。
《 爱人》 助邓丽君上红白
1985年，由荒木丰久作词，三木刚作曲，创作出《爱人》即后来的《爱人》，此曲又让她在日本的音乐事业进入了一个新境界。这首歌一举拿下日本广播“点唱流行榜”冠军，邓丽君更是凭借这首歌曲入选了第36回日本红白歌战，演唱当年创下记录的这首《爱人》，可以说她已经被日本歌坛与歌迷肯定。可以看荒木和三木对邓丽君在日本的迅速走红起到了关键的作用。
《我只在乎你》 助邓丽君达到巅峰
由荒木丰久作词，三木刚作曲的《时の流れに身をまかせ》译名：任时光流逝。10月，该曲获得日本作曲大赏冠军。12月蝉联全日本有线放送大赏及日本有线放送大赏双冠军，创下日本歌坛历史纪录，直至今日无人能超越，即使红透亚洲的滨崎步也未能望其项背。也正是这首歌曲将邓丽君推上日本艺能界事业巅峰，赢得日本歌坛不朽地位。1987年，邓丽君请著名词作者慎芝女士为该曲填词，中文歌曲《我只在乎你》横空出世，一时之间，风靡亚洲地区。中文歌词和日文歌词的意思虽然差不多，但歌词都内涵丰富，琅琅上口。本歌被日本NHK评为20世纪最感动日本100首歌曲的第16位，邓丽君是唯一登上该榜单的外籍歌手 。

半世纪，十亿个掌声的天籁女子中国的流行音乐其实已经走过了不太短的道路，近百年了，循着路上步履匆匆的足迹，你无法绕开这样一个名字———邓丽君(1953/1/29—1995/5/8)。
2011年1月29日是邓丽君小姐诞辰58周年纪念日，回顾她的一生，在中国流行音乐史上无庸置疑的是承前启后、开宗立派的一代大师，她演唱的歌曲已经成为世界文化遗产的一部分，她以妙不可言的邓式唱腔和完美的演唱技巧，带领人们走进真、善、美的艺术境界里，这么多年过去了，十亿个掌声依然倾城如故，人们由衷地喜爱她，难忘她，怀念她。
许多年前，一代人被她的甜美歌声深深陶醉。许多年后，这一代人在她的歌声中迈向中年、老年。走在熙熙攘攘的大街上，邓丽君的歌不经意地从某家店铺飘进耳朵，你不由自主地停下脚步，恍若隔世地想起自己青涩的初恋。
前不见古人，后不见来者。中国通俗歌坛可能再也找不到第二个象她那样能在如此长的时间里如影随形地陪伴如此多人的歌星。虽然，上个世纪80年代以来，通俗歌星、歌后层出不穷，但是，大浪淘沙，能让我们耳熟能详的已经不多了，可邓丽君依然光芒四射。用国语、粤语、闽南语、日语、英语演唱均熟练自如、风格各异的几百首经典歌曲足以让那些一辈子只唱了一两首成名曲之后就销声匿迹的歌星汗颜。而且我们欣赏邓丽君最大的困难就是打着灯笼也很难找到一首难听的歌。正如台湾电视公司著名主持人田文仲先生所言：邓丽君的歌老少咸宜，从懂话的两岁娃娃到两百岁的老人都爱听！
神奇的邓丽君，她浓缩了历史，一个人完成了正常情况下好几代人才能做完的历史问卷。很多港台和内地通俗歌手的所谓个人风格在她清纯自然的形象面前都显得做作可笑，唯一看似可行的办法就是远远地绕开她，有时还假装无视她的存在，心里却不得不服。
在这座高峰前，很多明星如梅艳芳、王菲亦只能位居其次(至少王菲曾坦言她最愿学的歌手就是邓丽君)。至于被誉为玉女、备受推崇的范晓萱，唱《甜蜜蜜》的水平简直不能相提并论。但是，总有那么一些人用所谓“酒廊情歌”、“靡靡之音”来贬损她，可是贬来贬去除了更加反衬出邓丽君的无法超越，现在有许多所谓的80后，90后在父母的影响下聆听着邓丽君的歌曲，我们相信，邓丽君歌曲会渊源流长，会被世人一代一代的流传下去，不所谓的天后阵营至今仍未见可与之比肩的超级巨星。这就是巨星最大的魅力！
邓丽君的歌具有一种浑然天成的美，如高山飞瀑、潺潺溪流。人们欣赏她只要靠审美本能而无需绞尽脑汁。其实艺术的共同点就是台上三分钟、台下十年功。功到自然成，就像夜来香开放一样顺理成章，毫无斧凿痕迹，但又比任何设计和精心包装来得更出其不意、妥帖、周密。今天许多歌手唱的歌缺乏感染力，就在于属于包装的东西太多了！这就好比本来相貌平平的小姐太太硬是靠整容术增添了几分姿色，却总让人觉得缺点内涵。
在一个拥有邓丽君的民族和国度，居然到处可以听到那么多不知所云的通俗歌曲，想来实在是悲哀。有些影视明星从来没唱过歌也来个“演而优则唱”，更有些歌手得了一点奖就盲目地妄自尊大，连自己究竟算老几都没搞清楚，自以为干出了什么惊天动地的大事，其实翻了半天跟斗还在如来掌心。
所幸的是我们中的很多人虽然无缘与邓丽君生活在同一个时代，但现代高科技使我们又可以回过头来重新复习邓丽君了，惭愧之余，激动之至。一顾倾人城，再顾倾人国。平心而论，论美貌邓丽君不能说是风华绝代，但她的歌却实在让人难以拒绝。可是，邓丽君这样的女人在今天是越来越少了，街上的女人越来越纯洁、越来越性感，满足男人们古典情怀的女人几近绝迹了。

在20世纪最后一年，香港电台综合专业推介与民意选出的“20世纪十大中文歌曲”，邓丽君名曲《月亮代表我的心》昂首入选。而在当年中国香港、中国台湾及日本纷纷举行的20世纪不朽名曲选举活动中，邓丽君是唯一一位在三地都有歌曲获选的歌者。20世纪的歌坛灿烂星光，几乎被她一人独占。
1995年5月8日，这个天才的艺术家因气喘病发猝逝泰国清迈，享年四十二岁，在生命的美好时光遽然离去，永远离开了喜爱她的歌迷，一个艺术家，逝去在艺术和生命的顶峰，如一首柔美动人的旋律在高潮处嘎然而止，留给人们无尽的怀念之情。就如她的歌《恰似你的温柔》唱的：怀念你，怀念从前，但愿那海风再起，只为那浪花的手，恰似你的温柔：

邓丽君纪念园区即将落脚北县金山。县府表示，耗资1.2亿新台币辟建的纪念园区预计2014年落成，将重现邓丽君在香港的生活样貌；县府同时强调，香港、大陆都积极争取设立邓丽君纪念园区，特别感谢邓丽君文教基金会的支持，让园区落脚北县。邓丽君文教基金会董事长邓长富也表示：邓丽君是北县芦洲人，逝世后葬在金山，和北县有很深的渊源，在金山成立园区，将相当有意义。 邓丽君虽然已经逝世十五年，但柔美的歌声和倩影让人难以忘怀。台北捷运芦洲线开通后，邓丽君曾就读过的芦洲国小，就在校内置放了邓丽君的照片等纪念物品，也吸引许多民众前往参访；县府表示邓丽君纪念园区规划涵盖金山乡中山堂、温泉育乐中心及中山公园等，园区除重现邓丽君在香港赤柱故居，同时规划游客体验的互动展示区及户外景观，让民众在怀念一代巨星风采的同时，也能休闲娱乐。编辑本段金牌粉丝
