현대자동차의 대형세단 '제네시스'가 엔지니어들에 의해 완전히 해체되는 동영상이 공개돼 화제다.

미국 동영상 공유사이트 유튜브에 지난 11일(현지시간) 게재된 이 동영상은

붉은 작업복 차림의 자동차 전문 엔지니어 3명과 카메라 촬영팀 2명이 현대차 제네시스에 '달려들어'

차의 모든 부품들을 하나하나 뜯어내는 모습을 담았다.

일반적으로 자동차 한 대에 들어가는 부품개수는

차량에 따라 대략 2만여개에서 4만여개 사이다.

현대차 미국법인(HMA)에 따르면

제네시스의 부품을 하나하나 뜯어내는 모습을 촬영하는 데에는 꼬박 3일이 걸렸다.

이 같은 작업을 42초 분량으로 담아낸 이 동영상은

이들이 차량을 분해하는 과정을 녹화해 빠른 속도로 보여준다.

영상은 이들이 뜯어낸 부품들을 가지런히 정렬한 모습을 나란히 서서 바라보는 장면으로 마무리된다.

현대차 관계자는 "제네시스 분해 동영상은

현대차 북미법인에서 바이럴(Viral) 마케팅의 일환으로 제작한 것"이라며
