   한승주 위원장의 사회로 진행된 프레젠테이션에서 한국은 홍보 영상 2편과 사진 자료물, 1991년 세계 청소년 축구대회 당시 단일팀을 이뤘던 선수들의 사인볼 등을 활용했다.

   하지만 홍보 영상이 호주와 카타르와 비교하면 월드컵 개최의 당위성을 설명하는데 부족했고, 자료들도 단순 도표에 그쳐 FIFA 집행위원들의 시선을 사로잡는 데 한계가 있었다는 지적이다.

   카타르는 이스라엘과 중동국가들의 긴장 상황을 월드컵으로 풀어내겠다는 의지와 중동에서 최초로 월드컵이 치러질 때가 됐다는 점을 강조한 홍보 영상으로 큰 박수를 받았다.

   반면 이홍구 전 총리와 정몽준 부회장이 똑같이 한국의 분단 상황을 전하면서 월드컵 유치가 한반도 평화와 통일에 힘을 줄 것이라는 비슷한 내용의 발표로 아쉬움을 남겼다.

   더불어 국가 원수가 직접 나서지 못한 미국과 호주는 버락 오바마 대통령과 줄리아 길러드 총리가 모두 영상편지를 통해 국가적 지원을 약속했지만 한국은 이명박 대통령의 영상 없이 김황식 총리의 주제 발표로 마무리했다.
