[지디넷코리아]국내 개발자들은 클라우드 기반 서비스로서의 플랫폼(PaaS)를 활용해 애플리케이션을 개발하고 배포하는 방식에 익숙치 않다.

구글 앱엔진이나 마이크로소프트(MS) 윈도애저같은 클라우드 개발 플랫폼도 아직은 해외 개발자들 사이에서 주로 쓰인다. 윈도애저가 구글 앱엔진 모두 한국용 서비스가 나오지 않아 글로벌 시장을 겨냥하는게 아니라면, 국내 개발자들이 굳이 써야할 필요는 없는 것이다. 

그러나 내년에는 상황이 달라질 것 같다. 국내서도 클라우드 기반 개발 환경이 본격적인 진입기에 들어설 가능성이 높아졌다. 
한국 서비스를 지원하는 클라우드 개발 플랫폼이 등장할 것으로 전망되기 때문. 한국마이크로소프트는 내년께 윈도애저 한국판 서비스를 제공할 계획인 것으로 알려졌다. 한국MS는 한국판 서비스 출시와 함께 특유의 생태계 구축 전술을 구사할 가능성이 높다.

이외에오 이번 컨퍼런스에는 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 위한 데이터 저장소 NoSQL 개념 및 오픈소스 소개(그루터 김형준 수석), 글로벌 서비스 플랫폼으로서의 클라우드(NHN 이두원 UI개발자), 네티로 구현하는 클라우드 스케일 대용량 웹 서버(레드햇 이희승 엔지니어), 안드로이드 플랫폼에서의 모바일 클라우드 서비스 응용(옥상훈 컨설턴트) 등 개발자들에게 도움이 될만한 다양한 클라우드 이슈가 다뤄질 예정이어서 주목된다.
