씨넷은 29일(현지시간) 디자이너 애디카 티텃이 개발한 포키(Foki)라는 이름의 신발 진공청소기를 소개했다. 컨셉트청소기인 이 신발 청소기는 빨아들이기는 하지만 빨아들이지는 않는다. 이것이 무슨 말인지 이해하기 위해 코트나 에이프런,머리카락 등을 포키슈즈에 넣으면 안된다. 

신발은 각각 재충전해서 사용할 수 있는 고무로 처리된 슬리퍼다. 2개의 회전클리너가 각 신발에 달려있어 먼지와 박테리아를 잡아낸다. 사용자는 포키라는 신발을 신고 집 주변 어디든지 달리기만 하면 된다. 또는 이 신발을 신고 청소가 잘 되지 않는 곳을 청소하러 가면된다.

실제로 신고 청소해 보면 계단처럼 청소하기 힘든 곳을 청소하기 좋다는 것을 알 수 있다. 

신발 위에 설치된 LED디스플레이는 배터리충전 상태와 함께 얼마나 많은 먼지와 그을음을 빨아들였는지 보여주기 위한 것이다. 
 
이 신발청소기를 신고 집안을 껑충껑충 너무 많이 돌아다니는 것도 너무 힘든 일이 될 것이므로 청소로봇인 아이로봇룸바나 삼성의 내비봇(Navibot)으로 청소배틀을 시켜 이 이를 대신하게 할 수도 있다.
