We have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Development Manager to join the RLI Sales Training Team, home-based, but with extensive travel to sites around Southern England and nationally. Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for ongoing training and development within the pensions and protection sales team.
The role will include but is not limited to the following:
- To deliver sales skills training to the sales teams, ensuring the competence is achieved and maintained and support ongoing skills development
- Support the Royal London risk appetite and RLI Sales Leadership, using appropriate quality assurance and risk mitigation interventions and measures
- Finally, working with the sales and marketing teams to design and deliver proposition developments and subsequently embed learning and changes.
Responsibilities:
- Multi-disciplinary training support to all RLI sales teams
- Design and deliver sales skills training to agreed standards
- To design and implement effective assessment procedures that satisfy appropriate Risk measures
- Contribute to the launch and delivery of new and enhanced propositions to the sales teams
- To analyse and address training needs identified from field visits, call reviews, PDPs and line manager feedback
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery and adapt as needed
- Sales Experience in the intermediary market
- Current working knowledge of pensions and protection market
- Experience of delivering training both on a 1:1 ratio and also to a classroom of up to 30-40
- Coaching experience
- Alternatively, an experienced Sales person with the aptitude and ability to train, coach and develop
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Sales Experience in the intermediary market
