미국 의료진이 귀먹어 듣지 못하는 여성의 귀에 임플랜트를 시술, 청각을 살려내는 기적같은 일을 해냈다.



씨넷은 3일(현지시간) 29년간 듣지 못하는 청각장애인으로 살아왔던 한 여성에게 임플랜트를 시술해 성공한 내용을 동영상과 함께 보도했다.



보도에 따르면 사라 처먼(Sarah Churman)이란 이름의 이 여성은 자신이 크게 웃는 소리를 스스로 들을 수 있는 것은 물론 상대편의 말까지 알아듣고 즉각 반응하는 모습을 보였다.
