[지디넷코리아]스티브 잡스 액션 피겨를 판매하던 웹사이트가 판매 중단 사태를 맞았다. 애플이 판매 중단을 요청해서다. 판매를 시작한 지 불과 3일만이다. 

지난 23일(현지시간) 중국 전자제품 전문 블로그사이트로 스티브 잡스 액션피겨를 판매하던 MIC가젯은 애플이 판매를 중단해달라는 내용의 이메일을 보내왔다고 밝혔다. 이 사이트에서는 잡스와 똑 닮은 액션 피겨가 지난 20일부터 성황리에 판매돼 왔다. 

스티브 잡스 액션 피겨 가격은 79.9달러. 다소 비싸지만 검은 터틀넥 셔츠, 청바지에 덥수룩한 수염, 한손에 아이폰을 들고 있는 모습은 스티브 잡스와 많이 비슷해 인기를 모았다. 

제품은 날개 돋힌 듯 팔려 곧 품절됐다. 그러나 23일 이후에는 더 이상 판매가 어렵게 됐다. 사이트에는 “판매를 중단한다”는 공지와 함께 스티브 잡스, 애플, 애플 법률사무소에 대한 사과문도 게재됐다. 

그러나 이 사이트가 액션 피겨 판매를 완전히 포기하지는 않은 것으로 보인다. 이 사이트에는 ‘스티브, 애플 팬을 위해 액션 피겨 제조 상표 라이선스를 신청해도 되겠습니까?’라는 추신글이 올라왔다. 아이폰4와 액션 피겨를 함께 판매하는 방안도 제안했다.
